It's cold

It's so cold here that I can't think of anything to write. Hears a tip make your toughest cold calls first and then go on to these ones last. Once you been rejected by a few big companies early in the morning the rest don't feel so bad. If a big company says YES first thing in the morning then you"ll have a great day.

For those who are new to sales the first 90 days are the most crucial. The people you connect with in your first 90 days will be your first batch of clients and prospective clients for the next 6 months.

Coffee & Donuts

Once of my biggest clients is stopping by today to look at a prototype unit.  There a good bunch of guys unless you piss them off, then they can get nasty.

The meetings at 9:00 A.M. Before the meeting I will stop by Tim Hortons pick up a bunch of black coffees and tim bits.  This token tells your clients, I like you and I really appreciate your business.  If your clients are women, it's best to have a  couple of juices out also.

Women like juice because it's kind of a keep sake they can take with them.

Go to the gym

It's about 5:30 Eastern Standard time, I was up till about 12:00 last nite and I'm tired.  Nothing beats an early morning workout.  I had (3) high profile clients squeezing me for estimates yesterday, if your a real salesperson you know what it feels like when clients want to throw their money at you and your team doesn't have their pricing ready, the company I sell for builds custom products.

Anyways, back to the gym. With all this work pressure to perform and client pressure to make them look good on top of pressure from my better half, I need a release.

The gym takes the jitters out of my day and builds back my confidence. I suggest working very early in the morning, it will start your day right and it gives you time to think.

I don't care who you are or even how old, do not just do cardio, it's worthless.  Go on ABC bodybuiling.com they can help.

Are their any real salespeople out there?  What do I mean by real salesperson. I mean are you in sales and do you sell products for a small to medium size company that has just above zero marketing dollars? Do you spend most of your time educating prospective clients to your prospective clients.  Have the house accounts you've inherited make you almost no money and waste your time.

If so this blogsite is for u.

I am a junior but accomplished sales person; who has started this blog as a platform for sharing tips, stories and general info on how to sell and make a living.

Let me know if you're out there
